Two things:
We might be able to go, but it will have to be a last minute decision. Doen anyone know a website to get all of the info? Tickets, etc? NRA site has pretty pictires, but...

Second, maybe we could arrange a DRTV cap or something so we could recognize each other in the crowd.

I'd go with Obama caps. That way we'll be easy to spot in the crowd. ;D

But you're the only one who has one.  ;)

I'd love to go but it's a 7&1/2 hour trip one way for me, too long for a day trip. Maybe next year.

Only two people on this board would come up with that suggestion, and you are one of them  :-\

For those that can, be there on Fri. Get the Free Bag, (you'll need it), the dealer/vendors, give out the best "freebies" on Fri. All the best catalogs, stickers, decals, pins, playing cards, shirts, and "stuff"..... The autograph lines aren't too long, and more face time is available with specific dealers to talk "nitty gritty"...

Give my regards to the Tapco "girl" OMG!!!! :o Yes get your picture with her beautiful pair, ,.....of catalogs,... ::)

Enter the giveaways, it's not as packed as it is on Sat./Sun.  It is the Toy's-R-Us, for gun lovers.

Get there early for the speeches, seminars, etc,..

And wear comfortable shoes!!!!! If your a boot lover, they better be damn comfortable. You will cover a lot of ground, more than once.

Enjoy it. It is an amazing collection of the new stuff, the NRA Museum, brings the old stuff, it's all good.

Fondle my SOCOM, The Springfield folks, Colt, S&W, and Sig. folks are fantastic.

The Friday and Saturday night events are something to be sure to attend. We only attended Saturday night at Charlotte and people in line couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed Fridays show.

This year, we plan on making having a joint appearance at the Outdoor Channel booth. This way, Down Range TV member and the 3Ms can have a little rendezvous.

Time and place will be announced.

Making plans to be at the convention on April 29 and 30.  Not sure how my back will hold up and/or if my meds will even work but I hope to see some of our DRTV family there.  Especially the 3 M's!  Please post info as it becomes available.

Thanks,

Richard
