A few inspirational videos.  More proof that Marines don't understand quit.

"No Maam.  If I was expecting trouble, I'd have a rifle."

You're not near the objective if you're not taking fire...

Thanks greatly for that list of links, Tanker!!
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I am also disabled and an amputee below my right knee from type one diabetes. Along with heart and kidney problems with the disease.   I have a prosthetic leg that is permant but,I still have to use a cane for balance.  MJ and RP,You had a great show and I hope you have more about the disabled in the future shows.   I always carry with me a Ruger Revolver SP101 or a LCR both in .357  magnum for ccw. Thanks again and next time do a show with the disabled subject with revolvers included please.  Rich642z,Omaha,NE.

Mr. Janich,
Thank you for your response. I was hoping that there may be a way to lay out a generic program for the different disabilities. One for those using canes, another for those on crutches, and one for the wheelchair bound. I suppose that would be impossible though due to the varied nature of the different disabilities. The information you offered on the show was a good starting point for me and did give me some ideas to pursue and different directions to try. I’d like to share those with you as I move along in the hope that they may be of some value to others.

Tankerdad,
Thank you for the links. A few of those look promising.

I will actually be doing a more in-depth treatment of the logic of personal-defense strategies for those with physical limitations for FMG's personal-protection annual. It will be on the newsstands later this year.

Stay safe,

Mike
