Quit bitching about Aguilera, at least she sang it in English.  :(

I couldn't tell.

It was on TV, you didn't see it?  :P

Dude, I don't even own a TV.     ;D

The music show used to fill the dead space between halves is aimed at attracting younger viewers, your kids probably thought the "Black eyed Peas" were great, although some one mentioned that the acoustics there stink.
I mean come on, would any of you have watched Janet Jackson if her boob didn't get shown ?  ;D

And as bad as whats her name did, I bet it was still better than Roseanne Barr.
Don't make me post that video !     :-X

Speaking of Janet Jackson, Why does the NFL keep letting these degenerates play when year after year they keep embarrassing the league?

Ms. Aguilera sings far better than I so I have no complaints about her singing. I thought she was trying to hard but I can't do any of the notes she did so no harm no foul. As far as the halftime show that is just fluff for me so I just ignore it and fast foward through it, thank you DVR! I watch football for the game and of course the cheerleaders.

Aguilera messed up the lyrics as she performed her "urban yodeling" of the National Anthem. :'(  No big surprise there.  And yes, I'm old.  But there is a right way to respectfully sing our Nation's song and urban yodeling ain't it.  >:(

I couldn't agree more.  "Artists":  The national anthem ain't about you and your performance.  I thought the girl from "Glee" who sang immediately before Christina stunk up the stadium did a FANTASTIC job.

The half-time show???  Think back and try to remember when one of these has been worth watching.  I couldn't, either. ???

The only thing that MIGHT have given that half-time show some redeeming value would have been had Fergie experienced a Janet Jackson style wardrobe malfunction.

The game???  I really thought the Stillers could still pull it out until that final interception. :P  Yes, I am disappointed.  But not as disappointed as my pal from Pittsburgh.  I haven't heard from Haz yet.  I hope he's gonna pull through. :-\

I suspect the cat is heavily medicated after that game.   ;D
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

After reading all the posts on this thread I didn't find one the gave a reason why I should care who won the "super" bowl. About the debacle that was the singing of the National Anthem, I make it a practice to not watch that for any "sporting event". (That is in quotes because I think any time the players in a sport are paid more than the President of the country that removes what they do from the realm of sport.) The only time I've heard the National Anthem song correctly, in recent memory, was when it was done by a soldier was a great voice. I didn't watch any of the pre-game, game, or post game but I did see some of the joke on the news this am.

Pecos, who still wants to know why he should have spent any time watching 22 men trying to injure each other.

I watched something more interesting than the Stupid Bowl but I can't remember what it was!

Now, if they were playing Australian rules, THAT would be worth watching.  Doubt any of those women with long hair playing in the NFL would bother to show up!

The NFL, MLB, NBA and the NHL have become jokes in the last twenty years.  Not worth my time....

Will.i.am changes lyrics to send message to Obama

By Chris Chase

It wasn't quite a wardrobe malfunction, but Will.i.am had an off-script Super Bowl moment of his own during the Black Eyed Peas' performance on Sunday night. The singer delivered a message to President Obama by changing three lines to his band's hit "Where Is The Love?" during the 15-minute medley:

"In America we need to get things straight / Obama, let's get these kids educated / Create jobs so the country stays stimulated."
