It's possible, but the people are still too much like sheeple. No real balls. They haven't been "oppressed" enough. Unless you want to consider making $75,000.00 a year as a city bus driver with full medical and dental after just 20 years "oppressed"? We got a long way to go to be Libya. Besides all of the gubbermint "protesters" are liberal. No guns. They hate 'em. No guns, no fear. They can throw rocks, but they'll stop as soon as they get bullets back.

Food prices are going to rise upwards of 50% this year.

I keep hearing that, but I'm not seeing it, and we've been watching. They've gone up, but not over half. All this "World Food Bank" $h!t won't affect us. We grow a lot of grain and raise a lot of beef and pork. If they get rid of the subsidies farmers will actually have to farm for a living. Imagine that?

True. But it's still under what it was a couple of years ago. Also, OPEC may collapse if these ragheads keep killing one another. That could very well lead to cheaper oil, not more expensive. OPEC is only 12 guys. The way things are going in countries like Bahrain, oil prices could very well be the least of their worries if the "common folk" start smashing their Rolls Royce's and pissing on their Marble walls.

True, but Hussein is still in charge of the printing presses, and he still has yet to graduate from Economics 101. He'll keep printing. Worry more about inflation. Once started it's a bitch to stop.

I have by a ton. If things do go to hell, ammo will be an indispensable asset equally good for use or barter. I just hope the "use" end of it won't be too bad. I'm not ready to sandbag the front door just yet. But it is going to be an interesting next few years that's for sure. I think we may just see the end of the democrats and the arab muslims as we now know them. Nothing wrong with fewer pieces of $h!t in this world! Let's at least drink to that!  Bill T.

It isn't so easy to topple Dictators.
It all depends on the Army Leadership. If they are unified in support of the Regime you get Tienanmen Square on squash a protester day.
If they unite against the regime you get a new govt.
Other wise you get a clusterf*ck.

The American public does not have guts enough to rise up. They put to much value on their own comfort.
Stop the welfare checks and the cities will burn, but middle America lacks the principles to say "No more, it stops now or else".
They don't even have guts enough to face the truth that that is the only way the socialists will be stopped.
