Characteristics of Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Friday, 25 Feb 2011 11:21 AM

Narcissistic personality disorder mainly occurs due to an abnormal and uncontrollable level of self-centeredness. Some of the symptoms of narcissistic disorder symptoms include, but are not limited to, an overly heightened level of self-worth and self-importance combined with a significant absence of empathy.

The signs and symptoms of personality disorders like narcissistic personality disorder call for immediate psychological attention as the condition becomes chronic and a lot more serious with the passage of time. These patients need personality disorder treatment as they constantly seek praise, attention, and approval, which is abnormal. This behavior, combined with other signs of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) – like indulging in long-term false fantasies – makes these patients have a pseudo feeling of accomplishment and entitlement.

Narcissistic personality disorder has a deleterious effect on the patient’s family and close friends and may also result in the patient resorting to personal exploitation of other people for their own profits and gains.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Referring to the portraits, Jon Stewart put it best. "He's not just running for President, he's running for coin". ;)
