Another reason to feel sorry for our friends in Illinois.

I am so glad I escaped this lunacy.   :'(

The Illinois attorney general says state police must release the name of everyone in the state who is authorized to own a gun.

Could something like this be challenged by using the protection of privacy in the 4th amendment?

I would like to hear the AG's reason for this release.

Just like Kalifornia.... the folks in the larger, shittier cities are spoiling it for the rest of the state.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I say screw them, when people who don't want to live in a police state start leaving in droves and taking their tax dollars with them, too bad for Chicago. All that will be left is welfare recipients and the mob, sorry I mean politicians.

Other states have tried this crap, all from the Left side of the Brady Bunch asshats, I will add; and they have all failed. THIS may be the exception, as it's Ill.

Darth Rahm, and the AG, and the Chicago machine, will sacrifice privacy, confidentiality, possible unconstitutional aspects, to advertise where all the guns are in the state.

Just to keep the home invasions, and burglary stats up,.....All part of Daley's/BHO's plan,....

I'm never going there, they deserve what they elected. Criminals prefer to know where the guns are, and the sheeple are.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Lisa Madigan, the Ill AG  is an incompetent agenda-driven tool. She was elected in the Demoncrap tsunami after George Ryan's corruption-plagued administration ended. She was 30 years old at the time, and had never prosecuted a criminal case in her life. And yet the people of Illinois elected this lightweight to that office. It might have had something to do with the fact that her Daddy was the powerful head of the majority Dems in the State House.

She is firmly in the Daley gun-grabbing camp.

I feel their pain because certain sheriffs in certain counties in Colo. do make public the names of CCW holders in their counties. I'm glad the Sheriff in the county I reside does not make the names of CCW holders public. It was brought up a few months back that the CO. State patrol and other LEO agencies have stated the CCW reporting in the state needs to be improved because of not knowing who can legally carry and who can't when a LEO does a check ie: they want all CCW permit holder names made public - (gee that would make us like Obama/rahm dead fish land, right now we are only halfway there. >:()
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”  H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun,  July 26, 1920.
