As acknowledgement to the whining from the 1911 crowd, a new product has come to the market to make the grip of Gen 4 and earlier Glocks more like the 1911.  ;)

A couple of videos below demonstrate the product:

Bill Rogers of Rogers Shooting School

"Super" Dave Harrington

Ken Hackathorn

Frankly I think putting these things on your Glock is about like putting an extra gold doorknob on the Biltmore Estate, but it probably won't hurt anything....  ;D

Based on the 0-31 second segment of the first video, the "G" guns are playing catch up,...including the M&P..... ;)

Oh, and it changes the damn grip angle,.... ;D "Closer mimics "modern" firearms like the 1911?"  really???

Your right, it won't change anything,..as they are fine pistols.

Just a very nice sales pitch. Hey,...if it makes a more "perfect pistol" perfect? Let it ride...

As a Glock21 owner, and I can vouch for a needed improvement to grip angle.

Your spot on Ping. No one worth their salt will say Glocks can't hold up, perform as designed, or are a problematic firearm. They just work.

Glock dominated the market for so long, when others like Springfield XD's, FN(X) series, S&W M&P's,....finally caught up, they offered options Glock never did. Adj. grip size, ambi features,....etc,...

Now that those firearms are cutting into what Glock dominated in previous years,,..Glock is simply playing catch up. That's not a bad thing, it makes better firearms for us all.

My G21 is a big chunk of reliable, durable, railroad tie. That shoots even Wolf 45 ammo, dirty, fouled, and has yet to give me ANY issue.

The grip is too big, even for my big hands, the grip angle is not the best for me, the finger grooves are too pronounced, but the damn thing works every time, is very accurate, and I can't knock it for what it is designed to do.
