The Tucson tragedy, every 'active shooter' tragedy and ALL of the gang killlings from San Diego to New York in the last 100 years aren't a drop in the bucket compared to the number of deaths perpetrated by governments who controlled, restricted and ultimately banned their peoples right to firearms.

BHusseinO doesn't get it and never will.

Whether by edict or slow erosion of rights like we have had since 1934, giving the govt more power will end up the same way. Us being screwed. To control them, you MUST know where they are and who owns them.
Of course you have to register them now! If you're not a criminal you don't have anything to hide right?

It isn't about guns, knives, clubs, whips, chains, cars or fists.  It is about violence, and until society learns to deal with inappropriate expression of anger and frustration they will never be able to ban enough tools to make Polly Anna Brady feel safe.
