Went to a gun shop/range in Dayton today, and I got to check out a Rhino. It's not as big as it seems to be in pictures. The flat-sided cylinder does make a difference in the width. I read that the trigger was really heavy, especially in DA, but it was surprisingly nice. In DA it was somewhat heavy, but it was very smooth and even. It's really nice in SA.
The guy at the shop said they got their initial allotment and they were gone the same day. He said the Chiappa rep. came in once with 2", 4", and 6" versions for them to try. He said the design makes a huge difference in recoil and control, and it's really accurate (5 shots in one hole from 20 feet with a 2" barrel).
Needless to say, I was quite impressed with the ugly little thing. Unfortunately they don't have one to rent. I'll keep checking to see if they get one, as I'd love to try it out.
Maybe they'll get some extra consideration, as Chiappa's only a few miles away.

They also had one of the Kel-Tec .22 magnum pistols "under glass." Same deal - they came in and were gone the same day. The difference with this one was that half (or more) of their initial allotment went to employees.

Neat little gun.
