March's Smith and Wesson Pin Up

It's here.  It's here.   March's Smith and Wesson.   

I know, I know.  I've gone nut-so over classic stainless Smith and Wesson revolvers.   Bear with me.   By the end of the year, I'll have moved on to something else.

Paid more than I would like, but still way under retail and what some people are paying.

A ~1987ish 686 with a 6" barrel.   This to complement my 8-3/8" barrel.    Very clean.  The seam on the side plate is almost undetectable.  The action is smooth and crisp. 










I'll get side by side pictures up soon.  So many things to do.  So little time (and money).

A 8-3/8" S&W 686, a 6' 686 and a 4" Model 66.  One of the early stainless steel Smith's

I really like the wooden grips!  HazJr has the monogrip on his 686-5 and though he like the feel and recoil lessening, I hate the looks.
