Ruger Scout rifle in 7.62 x 39 using Mini-30 mags
« on: March 23, 2011, 10:31:30 AM »
how cool would that be

granted most 7.62 x 39 ammo couldn't take full advantage of the bolt gun accuracy
Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, 60 rounds powder and ball and be ready to march at a minute's warning.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm just not sure why i would need 20 rds in a bolt gun. If you reload I dont see any problem  with it being as accurate as you want, but it will  never be a long range gun. i see it as a slightly less powerful 30-30 with a higher capacity. Godd pig gun.
