Thank you Haz. Something in my DNA I guess when I hear our National Anthem, just makes me proud to be American.

+1 on the goosebumps, me too, and I knew what was coming. Amazing talent in these young ladies.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Things like that bring tears to my eyes and I'm not ashamed to admit it. It really good to hear kids sing it with such feeling. Another one that brings shivers to my spine is the singing of The Battle Hymn of the Republic by the Army Chorus when George Bush welcomed Pope Benedict to the White house earlier this Spring.

Thanks Haz, that is super, this old salt will always have tears and not ashamed of them, seeing those young people placing their hands over their hearts was a plus.

Wow their ages amazed me. And yes I too got all teary eyed. I guess it is just the setting of it all the makes it so surreal-

Somewhere down in texas, before a game, on some night, our flag and all in which it represents is being honored, while men and women 8000 miles aways are sacrificing all that they have. It just shows the true Americana. The heart and soul of our America.

5 young Americans with microphones, can make their voices come together and make people believe and come together.

Did we win???

Those kids are great. Its about the innocence, trust and honesty of children. I saw a different version of the Cactus Cuties several months ago. They are trying to bust into show business and I wish them luck.

Now this rendition of the anthem will also bring tears to your eyes... :)

They ought to have sent that (insert expletive) to Cuba to live....and Rosie O'Donnell could've driven the boat..... ;D
