Your PERSONAL issues Score is 80%

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 100%

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

Libertarians
support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

The Washington Post thinks this is great, personally I think it's a load of crap dreamed up by some one like FQ looking to justify a multi million dollar grant.

The quiz just confirmed what I already knew.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 40%

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 80%

Right (Conservative)
Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional values." They oppose excessive government control of business, while endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Centrist prefer a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Pretty close to the mark I reckon, there are some items tha i think should definately be organised through a central agency such as govt. There is also somethings they should keep their fingers, noses and opinions out of.
I also consider my self to be practical, ie illegal immigrants, remove them at their countries expense and shoot the captains and coyotees on the spot, the westbro baptists - declare a bounty on their heads if they turn up to a funeral to picket -- Open Season.
I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters. - Solomon Short

that has to be one of the worst tests I've seen...

alot of those questions  depend on what they mean.

Take the 1st question, free speach is not as free as people think.  we all know this.  saying yes could mean every thing from not censoring the westbro church idiots, to saying yes to child porn.  which is it?

same with repealing laws on drugs.  Which drugs? narcs, the kind you need a RX for or both?  or how about experamental drugs?  once again its not a yes, no or even maybe answer.

the coprate welfare is another one of those deals.  do you mean hand outs or tax  incentives?  depending on exactly what you mean by each will drasticly change your "IMO"   For example do you think its ok for your state to pay moving costs for a big company to move offices to your state and/or giving them a tax break?  Is that wellfare or is that smart goverment?

Same thing with cutting international trade laws,  Do we protect jobs here or let them be shiped to other places?  same with things like miltary hardware or things that can be turned into miltary hardware.  do we let say iran buy plans/parts for nukes?  Or do we  cut out all agracultrual inspections out?

what I'm getting at is nothing is ever black and white.

intrestingly enough if you take the "worst case" or "largest scope" example above, you will be  for big goverment...  if you take a more realistic and cut out the "worse case" you will be a centrist.  if you read into them what you would like you will be a libertain.

100/100 for me....I don't think I'm a complete Libertarian but I'm much closer to this than a conservative.
