I believe this to be a great addition :D

I (and some other fine gentlemen [and ladies] )would be interested in the 6.5 and 6.8 rounds and their requisite rifles.  8)

It seems that most of the stuff posted on this forum deals with self defense pistols and ARs.

How about a review of single shot hunting rifles. That's one you don't see too often. Start with the Ruger.

+1 on the 6.5 and 6.8 rounds and rifles. But from a hunting point of view.

We are launching a new section today - DRTV Product reviews.

In the coming days and weeks, we will post products where you as a DRTV member can share your very own reviews.

First out is (since it is a hot item these days) the Ruger LCP.

If you have any suggestions about products to be added or extra features on the review section, post it here.

To post reviews, you have to be a forum member and logged in.

Thank You. It sure is refreshing to be able to go somewhere and get in the field reviews from people like us . That is not to say that the people on the staff of  DRTV are influenced by their advertising sponsors. I know Mike B. has made reference to a X-FILES mentality in that regard. Not sure if that was directed at my past comments about this (Have you ever read a bad firearm review). Thats OK because what I'm reading/listening too on DRTV on Mike B's reviews of the new products  Ruger, Sig etc. He is giving us his honest  review of the product. From there on its up to us to except the product as its reviewed or move on to something else. In a world were everything is made to be broken. Its just nice to have someone in your corner looking out for you. My wish list is greater than my bank account. Can't afford to waste my money on a piece of crap. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK :) :) :)

I have often considered laser handgun grips for my J frame Smith, but not acted. Have been at the range when several people used them. It was mesmerizing, to the point I could only watch their little red dot bounce all over and across the target. I just wanted to scream, SHOOT the damn thing! Anyway, Are they worth the investment or is it a gimmick? Do the batteries last, and are they a pain to change? Crimson Trace seems to have the lions share of the market. Would love to hear from the members.
Thanks, Mac.

And I don't like Ebert!

Ebert is weird, man, and I don't mean just because of the stroke. I was from Chicago, met Siskel a few times, liked him and his reviews. I never saw eye-to-eye with Ebert, and then I started hearing about his personal life. Too weird, just too weird. ::)

Fortunately, I'm only bound to one sponsor. ;D  And they don't "produce" anything (except for our custom pistol shop.)  So if you've got a question, fire away.

I'm always ready to offer up opinions of products I've never used! ;D
