Hard choices...
« on: April 30, 2011, 02:59:37 PM »
I only have enough money to buy 1 of the 3...  naturally, I found all 3 for sale at the same time...

As you guys know I like guns, boats and suffer from TES( tool envy syndrone).

which one to get... which one to get...

TAB,
I have no idea what they are and why they're special to you. Maybe if you can explain what each does and why you like it. Maybe, vicariously, I can channel you and make my vote.....  ;D

Are they are priced about the same?  I'm no expert but I'd have thought the boat would be more than the gun & lathe combined.

Ich, all of them are right about the $2k.

Go for the Mateba (1), then the lathe. Forget about the sailboat because you're too old for that crap....

I believe you said once that you were in your 50s; anything past 45 is old to me.....  ;D But I keep adjusting that upward each year I get older too....So maybe in two years, I'll tell you to go for it..... ;)

Mateba all the way!
Would love one of those beasties!
Would possibly swap my 460 for one, maybe....

If it were me;
#1 - Mateba
#2 - Lathe
#3 - Boat, a very distant 3rd.

It is said that the two happiest days of a boat owners life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it.

I understand that the Mateba works best with really hot loads and probably wont get shot that much, but still, just how cool is an automatic revolver?  What caliber is it?
