Because burying him in a mound of dead pigs would have been tacky? Appropriate, but tacky. ;D

Buried at sea, what a cop out. Sorry but its true and screw the bloody muslim world about seeing his dead corpse they saw enough of ours when 911 occurred and when they blew the shit out of us in Bali.
They should have had a taxidermist mount the f....r and put him on a stand in the whitehouse or better still the united nations.
Glad the POS is cactus.

That said it wont change a damn thing, the only thing is now the nanny state govts will use this event to tighten more laws, give police etc more powers all under the guise of increased security threats and the sheeple will eat it up accepting that its making them safer.

Really happy the POS is rotting in Hell, but it would have been a nice send-off if he was gut shot and writhing in pain for 48 hours before leaving. 

Reports are that they dropped him off a ship into the deep briney to avoid the mohammadanists making a shrine out of his burial site. 

I would like to encourage all faithful mooslims to make a pilgrimage to his burial site.  I would happily contribute to chartering a boat that could drop them off.

No need to spend your hard earned mate, we have these things called asylum seekers constantly arriving here in their rat infested leaky POS things they call boats I am sure that if the US asked we would be glad to donate them to the cause, of course they probably not seaworthy enough to reach the site and definately not make it back but I dont really see that as a problem do you?  ;D

First let me say that I am extremely happy about the death of Bin Laden. 

I can't have more respect than I already had for our Soldiers, but this just shows me that my respect and admiration was well place and deserved (was never any doubt anyway).  But, again, I offer thanks and reflect on the debt we can never repay.

My first thoughts on Bin Laden being killed was that he avoided the suffering he deserved for all the pain he has caused.  I envisioned wrapping him in pig skin like a football and then burying him directly under the spot where pigs are slaughter for meat.

I also have visions of the humiliation that might have been heaped upon him before he was allowed to die.

Then I remembered the pictures I have seen of Muslims desecrating the corpses of US Soldiers and the atrocities they perform upon them and the videos of the gleeful Muslims around the world over such events.

While I in no way think that US Soldiers, in any way, can be equated to the likes of Bin Laden, I do think that my reaction and desire for the pain, suffering and humiliation of Bin Laden came from the same rage and bitterness that fuels the Muslim demonstations.

So, I think it worked out for the best.  He is dead.  That was the goal and objective.  If we believe the version of god he believed in is wrong and the version of God we believe in is right, he will suffer.  He will suffer more than any pain or humiliation we could have heaped upon him here on earth.

He was buried in accordance with his religious beliefs (supposedly) and in a place that can become no "mecca" or rallying spot for our enemies (supposedly) and avoids all the complications involved in a live capture which could only end in his death anyway.

As the grandfather of a notorious forum member has said:  There are many reasons to kill a man but none to be disrespectful to him.     Well, if anyone ever deserved disrespect, Bin Laden was The One.  I am glad he is dead and our public handling of his remains were honorable.

(Though I do not begrudge anyone harboring their thought of vengeance as I do)

Too bad he wasn't captured alive.
I"m sure there is a long list of folks that would have loved to make his last days EXACTLY what he deserved. Thinking maybe a dungeon in Haifa....

He was supposedly protected by Allah. Now they all know better. The gutless, heartless Americans flew into a foreign nation, landed in his front yard, blew down his doors, put a big friggin' hole in his head, then called it a day. God bless those troops. God has blessed US with the manpower to do such things, and we showed today that if we were really an evil nation we have the capability to do a LOT. We choose not to do evil. We choose to fight it.

And that burial at sea?  Smart move not hanging on to the body. I don't know about honoring muslim burial, but I've heard they are supporsed to face Mecca when buried. That's pretty hard to do bobbing around at the bottom of the Mediterranean with concrete shoes.

It will be interesting to see what story is told to the public and what "leaks" out through back channels.  I am really curious about the mission details, tactics and weapons.

A couple of things that would have made it all the better.
1.)  He gets capped with a 1911.  Happy 100th anniversary!
2.)  For his burial, he gets weighted down with some WTC steel.  Preferably while still breathing.

All in all, it is very good news.
