Read that on another site earlier this morning. 

I am convinced (more convinced?  continue to be convinced? firmly believe?) that the current POS in the WH is dedicated to the destruction of my country's exhalted status in the world.  He is succeeding in reducing us to a socialistic third-world society where inflation reduces our consumption, and the cost of energy assures our inability to change anything.  I am grateful to have enjoyed a bountiful life in the greatest country in the world for more than half-a-century, and weep to think my grandkids can never know the same.

On another note, Sen. Grassly is on tap to grill Att. Gen. Holder (another POS from Chicago) about Project Gunrunner.  Sen. Issa ran him over the coals yesterday.  This could see charges brought against the Administration.  We need to wait and see, but the fireworks should be enjoyable.

I'm not surprised at all. All presidents have somebody whispering in their ear about what this will do to their image, how will the voters think. Karl Rove did it for Bush the Younger. 

The difference was IMHO:

Bush would never hesitated in ordering OBL dead.
Bush would have taken the blame if the mission had failed.

Obama covered his ass. Take the credit when it went well, have a fall guy if it didn't.

It will be interesting to see what medals get awarded and to who.
Certainly the CO of should get an MOH (like Doolittle) and everyone on the ground hould be up for Navy Cross/Silver Stars.

Obama may be the first POTUS to give himself the Medal of Honor as Comander in Chief.

Didn't read Phils post,  Valery Jarrett met BO through Michelle, Michelle's father knew Jarrett's father from his career as a Chicago ward healer for the Dem's. VJ and Michelle were college roommates and she has been Michelle's "Rabbi" ever since, every time VJ got a job or promotion Michelle followed , right up till VJ being connected to the board of directors who gave Michelle a $300,000 a year job at UCMC, a job that did not exist before it was created for and has not been filled since she left.
