That's on the list of possibles. The main thought behind it is the Maah Daah Hey trail campsites. If four rounds of 00 Buck don't take care of a mountain lion we really are in trouble.
While true, the weakest link in any shotgun system is ammo. It is heavy, the system doesn't carry a lot (no matter what the config) and it is slow to reload. Nobody ever walks into a bad situation and wishes for limitations in the ammo.
Personally, I'd start with a 7/8 round tube and start adding things from there...in this order:
+ Mag tube
+ Additional rounds on weapon (e.g., side saddle and/or speed feed stock and/or shell carrier)
+ Weapons light
+ Good sling
+ Sights
+ Everything else
All that said, it's a very functional blaster as it is...those are just MY priorities.
