Help with neighborhood pest control please?

Depending on distances, you might consider going old school with a wrist rocket and some 3/8" lead balls.  Modern elastics will make that a lethal combo for small critter out to nearly 25 yards.  And they make almost no noise.

THANKS for the solid advice so far.  

It's really my option of what yardage I take these things out at.  But the further away they are when they drop, the less it points the finger at me if someone see's the thing go down.  Some of the grey haired female folk in the area have started feeding these da#$ things.  If one of these well meaning idiots pieced together what happened to their cute little flea spreading hobo friends...  It would be BAD!    

Since these things showed up my dog and my neighbors dogs have been getting eaten alive with fleas everytime they go outside.  On top this there's a chance our dogs could be woopin on one of them and contract rabbies or something.  NOT COOL!

It looks like the "Bone Collector", and "Whisper" are mechanically the same.  The stock on the "Bone Collector" is a little nicer IMO.

Does anybody know if the power this type of rifle fires at is adjustable at all?  I know paint ball guns offer this.  It'd be nice if I could "tune it down" a bit for a warning shot if needed.

The only wayto adjust velocity is to use a heavier pellet . No warning shots (buy an airsoft for that purpose). As far as the rifle, just make sure you use .22. .177 isnt enough gun, I don't care how fast its going. I'd also order a pellet sampler pack. Airguns can be finicky and you need head shots. Try for super domed, HP or pointed. I'd probably lean toward pointed if you are at any sort of extended range. You should be good out to 30-50 yards. Also, if the price is reasonable, go for a scope package. Failing that, buy a quality airun scope as a spring piston gun can eat a regular scope. If you still have that spare eotech it would work nicely.

Thats actually a REEEALLY good idea!  Save me a couple bucks over buying a gun with a cheapo scope, and I'll have a much better package to boot!    THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD ADVISE!  

This has a scope already on it, but "70% quiter" is a tall claim.  If it lives up to even HALF that...

Oh, but what fun is that? Good to see they are doing their job. I'd buy the Gammo anyway. They are a lot of fun and lord knows the beasts may return. In Collier county they actually sterilize feral cats and release them. . Cause god knows they will do no damage to the eco-system or get rabies two years from now. Not to mention that spaying them is so much cheaper than a hot shot.
Ok, rant over. Still, buy the gun.
