Joe Biden just can't seem to get any respect.

First, he couldn't get anyone to name a school after him. Then, he caught flack for falling asleep during President Obama's speech on deficit reduction--which, in his defense, was kind of boring.

Now comes word that Osama bin Laden didn't even view him as important enough to assassinate.

A U.S. counterterror official tells ProPublica documents seized during the raid that killed bin Laden included the 9/11 mastermind's target list--which did not include the vice president.

"He talks about targeting priorities," the official tells ProPublica. "He says the president is of course the top target if you could get a shot at him. Also the military chiefs like the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the defense secretary, top military people. There is a note indicating that the vice president is not an important target because that position has less weight."

Are you kidding, Al Queda would take a bullet for the guy. In fairness, the same was true with Cheney. Cheney because he kept urging wars against muslims, which was good for recruitment (or at least T-shirt sales). Biden because, well, he has to have the SS pull his unit out at the urinal because he can't find it on his own. ::)
