Understand the adrenaline spike of being shot at, but gee-whiz, guys, get to the range once in a while.

Adrenaline does some crazy things to you during moments like this. Tunnel vision, fine motor skills out the window ect ect.

I agree, but don't forget this was a residential area. Look at the backdrop behind that vehicle when the shooting started. A lot of wood frame houses, windows, back yards, etc. They were pouring out rounds as fast as they could pull the trigger on 2 Hi-Cap, semi auto handguns. They're lucky no one else got killed or injured. These are the kind of shootings lawyers salivate over if an innocent takes any lead.  Bill T.

All that wasted ammo, shesh 1 shot from the S&W460 would have gone through the tailgate, through the back of the truck, through the perp and into the engine block just incase he wasnt cactus!  ;D

Really I cant blame the cops from being a little trigger happy on the dick but blam blam shooting was a little ordinary, I guess with adrenalin pumping etc there is a reason they was all over the place.

More like idiocy. Do I surrender? Do I fight? Do I run? Oh crap, I forgot to put the car in park!
This guy was worse than a Jon Kerry press conference.
