FQ is wasting his breath here , Runstowin's previous posts have shown him to be the type of bigot who gives Christians a bad name, a "Witch burner" who thinks the first Amendment only applies to his type of Christianity.

All of this has taken us far afield from the original question. Would Cain discriminate against Muslims and can he legally do so? I don't think his comments indicated an anti-muslim bias per se, just one against those who want Sharia'. The Constitution is clear in both Article VI and in the Establishment Clause of the 1A that religious discrimination won't fly. The words "Congress shall make NO law" and "NO religious  test shall EVER be required" don't leave a lot of room for argument as to the Founder's intent. So are we at least agreed on that?

There are legal grounds to keep Muslims out of official positions, they could also be used against "Liberals" (socialists).
Basically, no Muslim or Liberal can take the Oath to uphold and defend the Constitution  in good faith because their belief are counter to its intent and provisions.

Define liberal or socialist (neither category seeming to be Constitutionaly relevant). Where would you put TJ, William Jennings Bryan, TR, FDR, Abe Lincoln, or for that matter Ike, or Nixon on the scale?
FQ13 who would remind you that liberal and conservative are positional categories, empty of meaning. They measure distance, not content. Teddy Kennedy was liberal compared to McCain, and conservative compared to Nader. You'll have to define your terms better Tom. :)

FDR was a f*cking communist, Jefferson was an ass who was forced to chuck all his high flown principals in the face of debt and Muslim fanaticism. Jefferson's cowardice on the slavery issue was the cause of the Civil War.
 Ike and Nixon were good but WJ Bryan was an ass who happened to give one good, sounding, but poorly reasoned speech in his entire career. TR was America's first Socialist President, an advocate of big Gov meddling in things that were not the business of Govt. Lincoln was another W,  only more so.

Ok, I guess under a Tom Bogan admin we might need to do a bit of reshuffling of national monuments and currency and the like. Good to know that in advance, so there is no unseemly delay with either the demolition and construction crews, or the good folks at the mint. ;D

You'll never notice, the piles of dead college professors, politicians, political activists, union officials and media personalities will distract you.
It will keep you from noticing profiling by TSA for real security,  the sealing of the borders, (Limited admission, any one that doesn't like it is free to go )  deportation of all illegal aliens, and elimination of 75% of all non-military Govt employees.

You do realize that not only I, but my colleagues whose politics I don't endorse, shoot back right? I may not have suceeded in converting many lefty's to libertarians, but I do have a good track record in taking lefty's to the range and convincing them that a Glock and a 12 gauge is a wise investment. Proceed at your own risk Senor Presidente , but inside of fifty yards, you may have issues. ;D
