The company that I work for worked with Microsoft developing the 2010 suites and in turn we are all permitted to purchase any program for $9.95.

There are restrictions (home use only and only have rights as long as employed by XXXX).  Works for me, sucks being you! :)

BTW FQ13, get a Sony VAIO.
Why a Sony? I know little about them. What makes them better?
Thanks

Another very reasonable alternative (free) is OpenOffice.org.

I have used it and I like it.

http://www.openoffice.org/

OpenOffice.org 3 is the leading open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is available in many languages and works on all common computers. It stores all your data in an international open standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages. It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose.

Just missed Harley week.  It's noisy, but everybody has a good time!

All the riceburner bikers are in town right now.   ::)  Cops were on the news earlier talking about how crime rates went through the roof when the brothers showed up.  Three armed robberies just this weekend.  NAACP is sueing two local businesses for throwing out trouble makers.   ::)   Glad their only here one week a year!

Melanie and I are currently running 2 HP desktops, (HP Pavillion p6280t), and a Toshiba Laptop. All 3 have been running good for a couple of years now. All of them have Intel Processors. I had a "remanufactured" HP with a AMD Processor in it, and had nothing but trouble with it from the get go. I tossed it for the ones we're currently running, and have never looked back. Personally, I'll never buy anything with AMD in it again.   Bill T.
