I sucked it up and bought the new machine. I can now annoy y'all from an I5 at a blazing 2.66 Ghz. Maybe I'll even be able to get the spell check to work this time.

Windows Explorer won't do the spell checking.  You gotta use Firefox, it's a built in utility.  It will not, however, correct your abysmal grammar, your political views or polish turds.  You'll have to work on those in your spare time!
