To have a CHL issued to you, means having gone through a (FBI, ATF?)background check. If you were issued a concealed carry license, that should be enough proof, unless you're dealing with an asshole. At that point NO documentation will do.
Children, pets, and slaves are taken care of. Free Men take care of themselves.

FQ, I know about the students but what I was thinking is that with the ease at which DL's and such can be faked what is the government going to demand beyond that. This Patriot Act and Home Security crap scares the hell out of me.

Fake DL's are easy to spot. Most bartenders can. A LEO has no problem what so ever telling a real one from a fake.

Was in the PO today and happened to read what they will accept for ID. Birth Certificate is not acceptable, but a utility bill is .

I'd guess the Post Office is more concerned with you being the John Doe who lives at the correct address than that you are one of the John Does who has a birth certificate that says so.

state armed protection officer license, state DL, Army ID, HCP, SS card, old Army drivers license and much older Draft card  ;D
