Well, I can tell you guys aren't going to like this. 

But on a hot evening a Captain Morgan over french vanilla ice cream float is REALLY GOOD!  Cherry on top, and see how fast your girlfriend / wife gets plowed!   :D

May have to add a little coke in the first one.  But it's always a favorite.  ;)

My roomates and I made "black cow" floats with Guiness in college. Who am I to judge? (They didn't suck either). ;)

I hate Gin, Rum, and Scotch.
I like Vodka and I like Ginger beer though, I may have to try this.
Good thing you're American. You'd have lasted about ten minutes in the Royal Marines. ;D

Don't have the exact recipe anymore, but had it a few times.   Amazing how much alcohol you can drink when it's mixed with ice cream.

It involves Vodka, Vanilla Ice Cream, Kahlua, bananas and a blender.

Never understood it, but EVERY time I ever ordered a screwdriver anywhere in Europe they'd give me a glass filled to the rim with vodka and a little bottle of orange pop...  Once you got the glass down far enough to cut the vodka with the pop there was no point.  They also served stuff like bannana juice for breakfast instead of orange juice.  It was good!  Just weird.   :-\

Can't have been in Blighty, the measures of bar spirits there are embarrassing and expensive, I think one shot is a 1/5 or even 1/6 of a gill.

Vodka & Fresca makes a nice afternoon libation btw. Low Carb. too!

Yeah, my local bar here in Kerville treats me real well on the pour......sometimes too well  :-[. It's always a disappointment drinking liquor back in UK............darn good job they have such good beers!.............but draconian drink driving laws.......I'm soooo torn  :)
