If he's lucky its the latter. If you are an evil SOB selling flawed tech how sweet a deal is it to convince "do gooders" to try to give you a government mandated monopoly on your product? Its like selling ultra sound machines at a pro life convention. "Every woman should see this, its for the children and, no, we don't care about that $600 a pop". Honestly, if I ever become POTUS I will state in my inaugaral address that I will pardon anyone who bitch slaps those using  the phrase "its for the children" in a political argument.

Love the sig line Kmitch. And again, when are we going to see the end of hucksters using idiots to get their hands on our tax dollars at the expense of our freedoms? Drug testing firms, ultrasound manufacturers, bicycle helmet makers, the guys who put GPS chips in cell phones, red light camera companies, body scanning companies, V-chip makers,  and those making a buck from micro-stamping bullets. Its all "for the children", and Big Brother and the chosen few companies pop a bottle of bubbly as they celebrate their fat  bank accounts and increased power. The public is not invited to these celebrations of course. And far too many sheep of both parties think these weasels are doing a public service to keep their children "safe".
