NEW ORLEANS -- Over five years after a fatal shooting on the Danziger Bridge left two dead and four injured, the federal trial opens Wednesday against five former and current New Orleans police officers charged in the shooting and cover-up in the days after Hurricane Katrina.

On Sept. 4, 2005, James Brisette and Ronald Madison were killed and Susan Bartholomew, Leonard Bartholomew III, Lesha Bartholomew and Jose Holmes were injured in the shooting.

(James Brisette and Ronald Madison were run down and shot in the back as they fled unarmed). (It was determined a gun was PLANTED on Ronald Madison who had the mental capacities of a 5 year old).

The cover-up and lying to a grand jury, with the plea deals of other officers that have already plead guilty is going to roast the hold-outs of innocence.

So much anarchy, crimes, constitutional violations, civil rights violations, and that was just the cops and N.O. city workers.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
