“Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy earlier this month told parishioners at St. Sabina’s Church that federal gun laws are akin to ‘government-sponsored racism,’” the “Authorized Journalists” at The Chicago Sun-Times gush.

St. Sabina’s?  Hey, that’s the place where “Snuffy” Pfleger works! You remember what he told a mob to do to a gun store owner?

Then you play your hole card and posit that everyone but you is afraid of race.

I’m your huckleberry.  But let’s not be like blind men groping an elephant, because it’s really not about race as much as it is about populations most directly affected by and responsive to a continuing history of destructive government policies.

You know, the kind of crap you and your fellow “progressive” fascists are foisting on them, especially with that Orwellian bit about “strong gun laws against illegal firearms are critical in order to maintain public safety and private rights.”

Oh c'mon Peg, you have to dig the irony. Some of our earliest gun laws were from your state and other's in the Deep South restricting the rights of free blacks to own guns. These guys, just buy them a microphone, its like paying out rope. Wait till someone reminds him McDonald and Heller were both black. Ask the average ghetto dweller whether they should be able to CCW for SD and guess their answer. Sooner rather than later it will bite him in the ass. I'll bring the pop corn.

Thought he was. The privileges and immunities clause is a dead letter so we have to use the equal protection clause to incorporate rights. Often, that's race or gender. My bad.
