I don't know how much news on this makes it out of state, but union's been crying up a storm over this one!  Filing law suits against Boeing and even the state of SC.  ::)  Boeing got tired of union crap in WA, so when they wanted to open a new plant they came to SC.  Where if even ONE employee doesn't vote for bringing in the union, it doesn't happen.  Nice thing is, owners can list themselves as employee's.  Thus, unions are like unicorns here.   :)

I wouldn't blame Boeing one bit if they got fed up with union BS and told ALL american workers to go pack sand, moved all operations south of the border, or simply stated they'd only hire illegals in this country (our government would typically encourage either choice.  :( ).  

Having lived in MI for 15 years, I long ago learned Dem's ALWAYS kiss union butt...  What's the world coming to when Obama doesn't take their side?!?

This is BO we're talking about.
If he wants a quick settlement "without spending a lot of time in court", it means he wants Boeing to cave, whether there are legal grounds for it or not.

I grew up with a father that retired from GM....

Mom was a Republican though so it evened out in the end.  Trust me, Michigan was not and is not that much in the liberal camp but as with most industrial states, the urban dumbasses get what they deserve and vote for...

BO talks for that nights sound bite, what he says means nothing, his only concern is that it sound good for 24 hours when properly edited by his propaganda dept. at the MSM.
