American society today
« on: July 09, 2011, 08:17:10 PM »
Fixing late dinner and hear a big ruckus outside.  The neighbors little 9yr old kid is out there stomping around with her arms crossed, and her mom is following her around bowed down apologizing.  WTF?  Then a cop pulls up!  This just got interesting!

As they are explaining to the cop I hear that "mom" refused to take the kid someplace she wanted to go.  And the kid called 911 on her!   ;D ;D ;D

This is the same couple that seems to know EVERY time a cop car comes anywhere near our neighborhood exactly whats going on before the cop even drives past.   :-\

I've HEARD from down the street the mom tear the dad a new one half a dozen times in the last few months we've lived here.  He never says a word.  And she yells at him like a dog that pee'd on her pillow!  Clearly the kid is the one wearing the pants in the house though.  And dads pecking order is just below the hamster.

Mind you this isn't exactly the ghetto.  Or Beverly Hills.  Just normal 'ol suburbia USA...  I thought!   :D

Kid and wife should both be sporting shiners.

Or at least have to eat standing up for a while.   ;)
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Sounds a little like the busy body in the development who likes to send out covenant violation letters.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Sounds like a fun place to me. Always something going on. Keeps it from getting boring?

Sounds like someone needs to take a trip to the attitude adjustment (wood shed) department.

I think there should be a jury trial. "Bailiff, send in the Orlando 12!"     Bill T.
