Don't forget the hero's at home
« on: July 10, 2011, 10:04:54 PM »
Thought I was going to make it through this year, but I thought about it all through church this morning.  Just when I got it out of my mind this evening I received a call from a friend that fought for us that Monday evening and ended up in the hospital along with several others.

Don't ever forget the hero's that are in our lives daily and put it all on the line at a moment's notice!

July 10, 1989:  First page 17:24; three departments and two ambulances

Amen, M58.
Our younger son has chosen firefighting as a profession and is both a full-time firefighter in one county and a volunteer in another. He went through certification on his own time, while still a senior in high school, and was recently recognized as the youngest person to complete all the certification requirements and levels in the state.

All these guys, firefighters/EMT/LEO's put it out there every hour......God Bless 'em.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

All we have round here are volunteer firemen, don't know how they do it, and the Sheriffs Deputies are paid 25000.00 a year,  GOD BLESS them.
