It's the Spending, Stupid

Trying out some ideas for a new button.

Should this have the graph but no picture in the background? 
Is it rather too direct on POTUS?
Or maybe should the background be the Flag with an Eagle giving you an evil eye?
Is the lettering too bold?  Too dark?   White maybe?



Feel free to use it if you want, but I'd like to come up with a final version.   Also, I need to create my own background from scratch anyway, that one isn't mine.

The graph is kind of hard to understand at first glance, but that may be because the line and the lettering are the same color. It might be a bit to "busy" for a pin, but would be great on something larger, like a Tee shirt.
That's just my opinion and "art" is not my strong suit.

Here's the revised button.   Instead of plagiarizing someone else's graph I made my own.  You really don't have to read the background.  If you've seen "the" graph, you know what it's saying.   (The bottom line was suppose to be unemployment if congress passed the stimulus act, the middle line was what would happen if they didn't and the red line is what actually happened.)

Silly man!

You cannot tell the goobermint not to spend. That is their sole raison d'etre - they are entitled to spend your money. You cannot ask them to stop, you cannot tell them to stop - they will simply co-opt the people you send to DC into yet more tax and spenders. We cannot possibly understand this, us lowly peons serfs vassals "citizens", but ours is not to understand, it is simply to continue to give - and give more - so our benighted overlords can continue to live in the style they have become accustomed and spend in the way they are compelled to in some cases, or plan to in others.

It is about our destruction as a force - economic, political, moral - in this world. And it is - and has been - happening on our watch.

It's called a budget, in fact it's a blank check on our account.
Those people couldn't live on a budget if their lives depended on it.
In fact there are, allegedly, several members of congress who have either filed bankruptcy themselves, or run companies that failed due to poor management.
The Obama's bought a house with a $150,000 Mortgage, when they sold it to move into the mansion Tony Rezco hooked them up with they paid off the $250,000 they owed on that first house.
Is that the type of fiscal responsibility that will fix our economy ?

As much as you and TAB are always talking about hot girls, I am starting to come to the realization that both of you are seriously over compensating, and both probably suffer from a severe case of bachelors elbow.

One of the benefits of adventure sports. Most people are ignorant of just how easy some of the stuff is. I have seen this kayaking several times. I have come into waves to surf, and totally blown my entry. I immediately get my ass handed to me, and promptly take a nose dive into the river. BUT when you pop back up to the surface and you are still in your boat, girls think you are just hot s$%t, even if your buddies know better and are snickering at the absolute carnage they just witnessed. 

It is however an unspoken rule that wingman duties apply as soon as a bikini clad girl asks you if you are ok.
