Did a little whitlin' in my spare time this morning.

I've made a few smaller things out of laminate I made myself.  Mostly waking sticks.    I wish I could make a whole stock.    I might start by making a long press to make the laminate blank.    Then..............I'm not sure how to make the stock from there.

Yes, that's a plausible explanation!   8)

Either way, pretty impressive stocks!  Those laminated designs are growing on me!

Nice stocks, David!!!!! 

I'd like to have one for my Mini-14. My f-i-l had a NWTF Special edition Winchester 1300 that he loaned me to go turkey hunting a few years before he passed away and it had the green/gray laminate butt-stock/fore-end and was nice looking.
