Whats the proper firearm to hunt Easter Eggs with?

Is an M1 Garand with a S&W M1917 revolver as backup 'enough gun'

Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, 60 rounds powder and ball and be ready to march at a minute's warning.

Nope! Since there are so many of the enemy, you simply must use a mini-gun ;)

COOL!

I can see where it would be very useful in repelling boarding parties.

Before I reccomend a hunting gun I need to know an important bit of information:

Are you trophy hunting and planning on having the egg mounted; are you food hunting and hoping to eat it; or is this just fun shooting like prairie dog hunting?
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
