An apology to Tom Bogan
« on: August 16, 2011, 07:44:58 PM »
Tom,
I was going to wait till this weekend but when it's the right thing to do, I should not delay. Over the weekend you and I had some very intense exchanges and I am ashamed of the way I acted and would like to apologize to you for my remarks. I should have written a personal message to you letting you know what my beef was with you and I chose to take it out in public. I was reared better than that, and I know better than that. Again I apologize to you, and by extension, to everyone here on the forum for all of that; you all should not have had to wade through all of that.

I know this thread is odd, but I feel like if I was man enough to write what I did and post them for the public to see, then I should be man enough, more like humble enough, to apologize in public for the remarks.

And Tom, I'll be send you a message (very respectful and civil) about my concerns in the next few days to try to hash this out.

Thanks!
-FA

Very classy FA, but don't worry about it. Its Tom. He has rhinoceros hide. He probably didn't even register it as an insult. ;)

Oh Jeez!  What are you guys trying to do?  Alienate the mall ninjas?  Knock off this adult behavior!  Now someone is going to have to initiate a Glock vs 1911 thread or a caliber war to rebalance the forum continuum.

P.S.  Good job, guys.

But Glocks are still ugly even my .45 G21,, and my .380 is an awesome one shot stopper.,... :P

Good to see gentleman, with probably more in common than they think, moving on and remembering all of us are really on the same side. Especially in today's times.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

The Secretary doesn't seem as intimidating when you notice that's a Nylon 22 over his shoulder .
Rumble with the HA is much less likely than range day at the club house.  ;D
