American Airgunner
« on: August 17, 2011, 02:14:15 PM »
Do you ever watch American Airgunner on the Sportsman Channel?  I like the show, but I can never remember when it is.  These producers, and I use the title loosely, have broken all of the promotional rules:

Their website gives virtually no information
Their Facebook page is their main thing, but it gives no information
Their show times on their website are wrong
And, the do not answer emails sent to their contact address

I was watching a shooting show one day that had a .22 rimfire target system that was similar to Biathlon targets (steel with plates that moved to cover the opening when you hit it).  I emailed to find where to get these targets, because I have wanted one for many years.  After a week they finally emailed back that they were custom made and not for sale as most of the target systems they use on their show are.  I was disappointed that a show would use only, or almost only, nice targets that are not available to the shooting public.

That exchange has been surpassed by the lack of response by American Airgunner.  A few weeks ago I saw a show where they built a moving target system.  I caught just a bit of it, and the info on the show says that they show building the system.  Since I missed the show I emailed them for information.  Three weeks, and I have heard nothing:  No thank you, no here is the info, no we don't give out the info, no screw you, no we hate you ...  What a way to thank your viewers and drive them away  >:(

Your email may have been lost in (cyber)space. I would try again.

I don't watch anymore but do miss the Q-t-pie that was on the show...and she could shoot too!

Don't get the Outdoor Channel anymore.
