No, but I tried. The water looked good, but the wind switched to the north east and it was cold, so guess they decided to lay on the bottom and stay incognito. I even used a double jig with crappy bites, ( you know, double your chances of getting one) and nothing. Perch weren't even harassing us.

Water is probably still too cold.

Best of intentions, I'm sure. The ones flung toward Cuba only went half way anyway. Of course, I only heard about all that. Wouldn't be involved in such, such.. what was the term bandied about by the authorities ?, HOOLIGANISM!!

And the flights were full.

The truths always comes down the pipe AFTER the fact. NOW the real culprits come to the surface..

Just like my kids.. They will pick the times while we're all setting around the campfire.. then they start reminiscing about what they did in high school and college that I DIDN'T know about at the time. Now understand that for the most part, my kids were so open around me and talked about everything that was going on.. ( or so I thought) 
I had my own kids and I had all their friends at our house lots of times...clear through the college years.
 I was the fun/cool mom and I cooked.. ( 2 things that spell success with teenage boys)
So I DID discreetly keep one ear open to all the conversations.
Many times I wished I hadn't heard what they were talking about..    but it did keep me in the know.
But some of the stories they tell now at the antics that they pulled.. lordy lordy lordy. .
 I marvel at the fact that their still alive.  And I thought I was right on top of things and pretty much knew all that was taking place.. Wrong!
 Glad I didn't know back then, or I would have more wrinkles than I do now..

Every night when I go to bed soon as I lie down my Handsom Boy jumps up on my chest for some pets.  He butts his head into my chin as says "Pet me!"

Now you understand!  If, as a teenager, you do all the things you were told NOT to do, and manage, through wit and agility, to SURVIVE to adulthood, you will probably become a decent adult human.  It's the kids that DON"T do anything naughty as a teen that grow up to be the freaks and losers.
