Very cool way of documenting

Wonder if they will also include the GPS data for families to locate the graves as well.

I could not believe the stats on the place. 27 services a day.

Amazing still and I hope this helps preserve the memory's of everyone there.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

It is way behind the times as far as the record keeping goes.

When my mom was interned with my father there a few years ago, we went to try and find my Uncle Mac’s grave. You would think you would give them a name and they would pull it up on a computer.

They still used microfilm.  We had to give them the year he was buried and they sorted through the records.  I went to the funeral when I was in college so guessed 1975 and I was right.  They found the plot and we went to see the grave site. I remembered the tree that was by the headstone.

National Geographic did a great special on the cemetery and the Old Guard.  It’s well worth the money.
