I can only think of two reasons for the original post. 1) The OP wanted to shock the forum about rape (hinting that it was ok if a woman was dressed a certain way) or 2) he thought it was funny and wanted to inject a little levity into a Tuesday.

Personally I find the interpretation of 1st Timothy that was quoted as a sign of a very sick mind who is trying to justify his either wanting to or having raped a women. Does this thread belong on this forum? Sure why not? It has as much place as some of the other threads I've seen here. If you don't think it belongs DON'T READ IT AND DON'T COMMENT. The thread will die a quiet death if no one responds.

A good description JC but they really are religious zealots just that they are psychotics also and I fervently hope that the gene pool stops with such people. (I know, I know, I know it doesn't but I can still hope.)

Well put. People likre this, it doesn't matter if they are Christian or Muslim anymore than it matters if a school yard shooter uses a Glock or a 1911. Any religion has passages that can give aid and comfort to evil. To say otherwise is to ignore history. An evil SOB seeking justification can probably find it.
