My home Church pastor was in a bad wreck yesterday
« on: September 07, 2011, 05:27:42 AM »
Pastor Adrien Timmons was in a bad car wreck in Watford City, ND yesterday afternoon.  I know he has a concussion, two broken legs and a shattered knee.  I don't know much more than that.  Adrien is also a life long family friend that took over the Corner's Church after my dad was killed in a carwreck.  So along with praying for him and his family, prayers for my church family would be much appriciated

You got it.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I still don't know about the severity of the concussion.  One leg is in an air cast the other one a solid cast. A shattered knee.  He's heading in to surgery  Thursday.  That's about all I know.

From his wife: Adrian is out of surgury. The actual time in was 3 1/2 hours. Dr said he used a couple screws in right leg and several in the left and also used a few plates. Because he is at such a high risk of blood clots the did not cast either one. He will stay in the hospital as long as the Dr can keep him (until insurance puts up a fuss). Dr. said the left knee was a real mess

I finally got up to see Pastor Timmons.  He's alot more banged up than I was expecting.  He will be in the hospital for several weeks and will leave in a wheelchair.

Keep the updates coming.

God Bless,

Richard

PS:  You seem to say leaving the hospital in a wheelchair is a bad thing.  Bad, but could be worse.
