BEST RIMFIRE SEMI

What's your opinion? I'm about to buy a 22cal semi for use in a Bulls-eye pistol league weekly shooting tournament. I will be using a Match Dot Ultradot Four red dot. (My eye sight is very poor. ) I'm an old geezer and my manual dexterity has deteriorated in recent years. Therefore, I have ruled out some nice guns which have been difficult for me to take-down, clean and reassemble; i.e. Rugers and Buck Marks. I have an opportunity to buy a S&W 41 in 97% condition. Also considering a S&W 22-A and a Baretta Neos. What do you suggest? Thanks for your input.

I wouldn't consider anything but either the Buck Mark, or the Ruger. While the Ruger can be difficult to reassemble there are after market devices to make it simpler, the Buck mark is very simple, it just takes some practice.
Never heard anything good about the Neos aside from paid write ups in gun mags.
Ever heard a gun mag give a new gun a bad review ?

I have both the Buckmark and the Ruger Mk I.  Both are good.  The Neos has a smaller grip and if you have a small hand it might fit better.  Find a range that rents them and give them a try.   All three are good choices.   BUT get the longer barrel target model.  Not the less expensive stripped down models.

The S&W 41 is the best choice, provided the price is right, normal pricing would allow you to buy 2 or 3 Rugers or Buckmarks, which I consider good pistols, if you are using an optic, then no reason for the longer barrel, why fight all the extra weight? The shorter barrels shoot just as good out to 50 yrd.  I have shot the S&W 22A and it shot well, did not shoot a thousand rounds worth, but it functioned and shot well for the 50 rds I put through it. If your serious get the 41, just getting started, then I would go with the Buckmark and have fun. If you got a deal on a 41 for 300 bucks, buy it and run.
