What I like about DRTV

I read the thread with crescendo exiting the building, so I thought I'd throw in with some of my views.

This forum is the closest thing to My home shooting range atmosphere, than actually being there. At my home range after a match, We.

1) Discuss the match and how everyone did.

2) Discuss equipment, guns, holsters, magazines, sights, speedloaders, the perfect handload.

3) Discuss techniques, ours or someone who did really good that day.

4) Discuss the next match to come.

5) Discuss politics.

6) Talk about our families.

7) Discuss people in our community that are having a hard time, or is sick, and what we might do to help.

Discuss the latest edition of the american rifleman, american handgunner, or the latest episode of SHOOTING GALLERY, I know shameless plug.

9) Help out a newbie during and after the match.

10) Discuss tactics and the latest teachers of tactics.

11) Discuss knives, hatchets and axes.

12) Discuss shooters We have'nt seen in a long time, and maybe call them up to see what's happening.

13) Tell jokes.

14) Some of us talk about hunting and fishing.

15) Discuss the war and the troops and which of us have sons or daughters in the military and how they are doing, what are their opinions and experiences.

16) Discuss cars, boats, motor cycles, atv's and planes.

Just about everything We discuss here

All of us involved with DRTV have spent the better parts of our lives on ranges and at matches...our goal was to create a place that mirrored that super-special environment.

We know we can't please everybody all the time, but we hope to create something special here...
