Cheney talks up a 2012 Hillary Clinton campaign

Hillary Rodham Clinton gained a very unlikely supporter yesterday.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney in an interview with ABC News' Jonathan Karl Wednesday offered glowing praise for the Secretary of State and 2008 presidential candidate, calling her a "pretty formidable individual" and suggested Clinton should challenge Barack Obama in 2012.

"I think she's probably the most competent person they've got ... in their cabinet. And frankly, I thought she was gonna win the nomination last time around," Cheney said. "Maybe if the Obama record is bad enough--and these days it's not very good, given the shape of the economy--maybe there will be enough ferment in the Democratic Party so that there will be a primary on their side."

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......makes me wonder if old Dick is trying to stir up a little discontent in the dem tent.  A little divide and conquer, so to speak.  If that's what it is, I LIKE it!!  ;D
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Well, I like it too...

But....  If BHO is so bad that the Dems would put up Hillary rather than the incumbent, it might be that BHO could be beaten by a Republican on election day, and Hillary might have a better chance of beating the Republican.

On the other hand, I'd rather have Hillary in office than BHO.....and I'd never have believed the thought that Hillary was the lesser of two evils had a chance of entering my mind 5 years ago.

The left HATES!!!!!!!! Cheney so if he is trying ti stir up discontent it will backfire in his face.  If Cheney even mentions a dem as a 'contender' or even 'in the running' it is the kiss of death.

As often as the left called(s) Cheney "Darth Vader", they truly do not know the power of the Dark Side.

Still works to our advantage since a sick cat could beat BHO.

I have BAD feeling that we will blow it (think 2008 and McCain) and BHO will win an easy re-election.

It's been mentioned before by our resident High Poster but it bears repeating..

It's all about the primary folks.  Get your butts to the polls during the primary or we deserve what we get for a candidate!

I got a fortune cookie that said that.    "All is not yet lost"      I didn't know if it was good news or bad news.
