Ever have one of those days....

Sitting at my desk working on a project and tried to help out an engineer in need (and go see a buddy that now works for the vendor we visted).  So a 4 hour there and back trip turns into 6 and half hours, no big deal.  But I have got to argue politics for 3 and half hours with a guy I used to get along good with, he just would not drop it!  Government is the answer to all our problems, seriously that is his core belief!  It only went down hill from there, he's so far gone it wasn't worth the breath....  I got him pretty hot a couple of times just to make sure he felt my pain though.
Get home, late, dinner is cold but I'm not hungry just tired and want to kick my feet up.  NOPE!  We have open house with my youngest from 7 to 9!  Put on a  ;D and try not to let my sour disposition show (not very succesful either!).  Tomorrow is another day loaded up....

It might be but its still Friday, followed by our annual gun show on Saturday and I'll finish up one more class towards my degree this weekend! ;D

Have um all the time!  LOL  My weekend is jamed full of good stuff though.  Gun show Sat. until time to go set up and shoot an USPSA match and on Sun. set up and shoot an IDPA match!  In my spare time Sat I get to go to an early, just before they close the Campground for the season Halloween Beggers Night and party and Sun. a Bday party for a friends daughter.

Yep.  Every now and then.    I think the trick is to know when to just stop beating your head against the wall and stand down.   My last major one ended with a car accident (my fault).   While I was unhurt and willing to "finish" the day at work with about 6 more hours staring me in the face......I stood down.   Best decision I made that day.

The next day turned out much rosier.

Hang in there.   Try to focus on  and remember the good ones.

IT'S FRIDAY! 

Hope you all have a good one, and I think I may just take ellis' advice and buy a gun Saturday, you know just to ease the pain. 

A .22 pistol sounds about right, now which one....

My theory is "Sh!t happens, sometimes you step over it, sometimes you step in it" .
It may sound cynical as hell, but it helps me keep life in perspective.  ;D
