Hey- what about Sig's new GSR? I haven't fired
one but I hear it's pretty well appointed for the price range, and...Tritium sights?

Lets not forget that when we talk about 1911s , that does not include commanders and pistols we commonly call 1911s. The true 1911 is the pistol John Browning designed, the action and feed ramp is different on so called 1911s, also the barrell and feed ramp is straight. Im sure most know this but it may be better to word this properly to avoid confusion.
