Lady's with Guns

I thought I'd move this out of the realm of motivation posters into a thread of it's own.

A local young lady, whom my wife taught in lower and middle school is the reigning SASS Jr Girls champion.

A sophomore in HS now.   She will be breaking SASS records and hearts.   I've shot with her and her grandpa in IPSC.

GUYS!  GUYS!   Just a friendly word of warning.   Her grandpa can be an ornery cuss when riled.  Her coach and mentor is "the" Randi Rodgers.  And I've been known to hit what I'm aiming at.    So any snide/improper remarks, you're toast, between grandpa, Randi and myself.

I am a father of an only daughter myself, and I'm there with you.  Now, if you're talking about Jessie Harrison (sigh), that's a different story.

Yes, but she's a grown woman.....who can shoot the nads off a gnat at fifty paces...

But, darn, sometimes (very rarely)  I wish I was about 30 years younger.   ;D

Always great to see the next generation of shooters male or female, excel in a worthy endeavor. Somehow, it also carries other attributes worthy in life.

Like thinking on your feet.
Thinking outside of the box.
The ol' hand/eye thingy.
Being more mature than your age.
Being responsible, safe, and level headed. (Even if Grampa is ornery). ::)
Aspiring to become better in all aspects of their lives.

And generally, 99% of the time, not being a BHO supporter. :P

Good for her. I wish her continued success.

There, no "improper" remarks,..... I have my life size Jessie "Jasmine Jessie" Abbate poster anyway..... ;)

Reason for posting is that I am proud of Slick's Sharp Shooter.  Even though she's not my child, I'm pretty proud of this local girl, with whom we had some minor connection.  I'd hope others would post similar stories.
