All true. But you know behind the scenes the guy has to regret saying it. 2 decades with Monday Night Football was worth a fortune to him for what he had to do to earn it. To have that all flushed for making one stupid statement has got to hurt.

To paraphrase Open Range - There's some things that eat at a man worse than sucking at ESPN's tit.

Especially given what they have allowed on previously. At some point, you gotta draw a line.

Part of the problem is he is one of those kind of guys who speaks his mind regardless of where he is, or who he's around. About like us sitting around here. The thing is we have nothing to lose if taken to task for it, he does. Kind of like the way you have to watch what you say at work. Certain things can come back to haunt you, or even cost you your job. It's far worse when you're a public entertainer in the limelight, and every word you say is scrutinized.

That is true billt, he spent 20+ years getting us fired up for MNF. However, he's got what most fly by night hosts do not have.

The ability to perform.
The ability to rally folks.
The ability to sustain the adoration and loyalty of 98% of so called "Southerners"

He also fell face first off a cliff, leaving his face scarred "hence the shades",.....fought addiction, and demons, and "survived",...

He'll be just fine...

I made him see the light,... ;D
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

I dont mind what he said. But you cant mention anything about Hitler or Nazis. People want money and its easy to get it when you say you hurt by certain buzz words. So to me that is all it is. I am sure it might of offended the few holocost survivors that may have actually heard it, but the 30 year old lawyer seeing dollar signs in the comment doesnt care.

I agree we need people like Hank just to say it like it is and not apologize for it. With everyone so easily "offended" today we need someone to not be afraid to pay the 1000000 dollars and say what they want.
Did we win???

Considering how the liberals consistently f*ck Israel in favor of those lazy scumbag Palestinians I doubt any holocaust survivors were offended.
The only ones offended were socialists try to hide BO's agenda.

You are correct, Ksail.

I have seen folks object to the use of the word 'euthanasia' because they said it reminded them of the gas chambers used by the NAZIs.

Es gibt keine Notwendigkeit zu befürchten, Underdog hier ist.
Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage. Where are we now??????
