What I heard purported was that Mexican drug cartel would get 1.8 million for the hit. Supposing that is true, it smells to me...the drug cartel has more money blow out the back of a trucks driving southbound every day than that. They sell a product with virtual impunity and they control their narco-state, Mexico. The Mexican drug cartels are, I believe, too smart to screw that up doing something stupid like executing a foreign diplomat on US soil....but then there is the bravado thing to factor in.
I'm not buying the story and I'm not discounting it either.
Our adminstration has a decided lack of character. Tax cheats and liars. They misrepresent truth to their own ends at every turn...they contrived Fast and Furious which I would purport as a "false flag" event. That which is true is false and that which is false is true. There are implications that arise from that type of behaviour....one of which is a justifiable lack of confidence in the Hussein Administration that occupies the White House.
I'm with Rastus on this. Hezbollah, and the Iraqi Shiite militia's are nothing but front's for Iran's "Quds Force", who sole objective is to spread chaos and terror through out the rest of the world in order to further Iranian objectives.
On the other hand, the Cartels are, while extremely violent, essentially business', engaging in violence to protect, or expand "market share. They are unlikely to endanger a multi billion dollar market for a crummy $2mil.
On the third hand though, While it was not known that he was a rat, the person contacted genuinely was a Cartel member, and while I did not hear the details, there was that Fox news blurb about a money trail leading to Iran.
All considered I have to reserve judgement pending more information.
