I'll reserve the celebrating until after the "new" government is in place and we've figured out where they stand.  Just like Egypt and the rest of the Arab Spring, it isn't any rosier and we don't know who's ultimately pulling the strings.

Libya was one of the places we sent prisoners to to be tortured, since we don't do that sort of thing.
Mubarak and Qaddafi were both US allies, Qaddafi doing our torture, and Mubarak keeping the peace with Israel.

     There are some conflicting stories out there as to who actually killed him and/or how it all went down.

     To me it does not matter if the air strikes played a part in slowing him down so that the people on the ground got to him. It does not matter to me if he was wounded upon capture, and then later executed.

     To me it does not matter if it was an AK or 9mm  or .357 that killed him.

     What matters is that he is dead and we dont have to worry about him anymore. His name has been scratched off the list. Now onto the next punk !

      Also what should be done is getting this video of him being captured and later shown dead in places like Pakistan and Afganistan and Somalia and  last but not least   Iran. This may give the good locals some motivation to do in their countries as to what needs to be done to thier trouble makers and oppressors.

As I've posted before, Col. Kadaffi should have been dealt with when the grieviances occurred.  Col. Kadaffi rolled over and had complied with US demands.  Supporting the overthrow of Libya after Libya "fell in line" with US demands shows that the US cannot be trusted.  The next tin pot dictator we make demands of will know this.

Next, Iran is obviously behind the formation of Islamic puppet states.  Egypt fell, Tunisia and Libya....read about the Egypt and Tunisia's political path...turn on the old shortwave and listen to some foreign news.

Tactical thinking deals with one's "piss and vinegar" feelings.  Strategically we have failed.

This is a war by the way.  The enemy is gaining ground and we're cheering them on.

Compare the pathetic, whining, Wall St. babies $h!tting on cop cars and screwing in the park, to the Libyan rebels that successfully overthrew Qaddafi. Which would you put your money on? That is where we are headed in this country.
